Kevin Glass: Bio

I double majored at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, obtaining degrees in Music and Electrical Engineering. During my time there, I had the opportunity to have private lessons in composition, and get hands-on experience in writing scores for short films.

During this time, I also worked as a technology lab manager, increasing my familiarity with game design and AGILE, all of which culminated in my senior project: creating a unique MIDI keyboard controller with MPE (Multidimensional Polyphonic Expression) capabilities, to assist in further game and film compositions.

I approach each project holistically, meaning that I attempt to solidify it at every angle before delving into unknown territory unless absolutely necessary. This way I can meet deadlines efficiently, with a complex and iterative product.

While I would like to score for games due to my musical and technical backgrounds, I also pursue this because of my love for video games. The ability to tell a story or display an emotion, visually and aurally, is unique, and I enjoy every minute of it.
